Terms of service

Last updated October 29, 2026

These terms cover MakeCountdown, a site for making a private countdown of photos and notes.

What the service is

You can draft and preview a countdown without paying. One payment of $9.99 publishes one countdown and gives you a private link. The recipient does not need an account. Days stay locked until their date in the timezone you saved. The service is for personal gifts.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to store it and show it to anyone with the private link. You must have the rights to the photos and words. You may not upload anything illegal, infringing, or non-consensual, and nothing that sexualizes a minor. We may remove a countdown that breaks these rules.

Payments

The price is a one-time payment to publish one gift. Internally the system records that as a single publish permission. The site does not sell a subscription. Refunds are described on the refunds page.

No warranty

The site is provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted access. If a payment never produces a working link, write to us and we will publish it or refund it. We are not liable for indirect losses. We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page is the current version.
